Baby Ella was 8 days old when I met her just before Christmas...and a teeny tiny 6 lbs! But as small as she was, she was feisty and strong! There were a few certain poses she would have nothing to do with! :)
I travelled to Toronto to meet this little lady and her parents and I had a great time! :)
Congratulations again, Lenny and Alana on your little angel!
This last photo is not of sweet little Ella, but of (almost) all my stuff that I bring along to newborn sessions. This session was in a condo and I was lucky enough to be able to use a bell cart for my stuff. When I was finished the session, I had a goal to get back to my van in one trip and I did it...BUT, I got stuck in the elevator doors and it took 3 men to help get my stuff out. Haha...oops!

I met up with 3-week-old baby Joshua and his mommy and daddy (I first met Kevin and Michelle about 12 years ago at our Church youth group, but we haven't seen each other since) just a few weeks before Christmas. Three weeks is a little older than I normally like doing newborn photos, so I was a teeny bit nervous about how it would go...but he did awesome! He was very cooperative! And I thoroughly enjoyed my morning (having a mini reunion) with Kev and Michelle.
This is one sweet (and very loving) couple. Whenever I do newborn photos, I usually do at least a few of the mommy and daddy kissing, and whenever I do, the conversation usually goes something like this:
Me: "okay, let's get a kissing shot."
Baby's mommy & daddy: (quick kiss)
Me: "oh wait, can you hold it a bit longer? I missed it."
And that's about it...this is how it went with Kevin and Michelle:
Me: "okay, let's get a kissing shot."
Michelle: (looking at Kev with a big smile on her face) "okay!"
Kevin & Michelle: (KISS, kiss, kiss, kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiss, KISS KISS, kiss kiss kiss) (kiss) ...
Me (interrupting): okay guys...good job...I think I got..."
Kevin & Michelle: (kiss kiss kiss, KISS)
Me (laughing): nice work guys...I think I got a few
Michelle: "can we try that again?"
:)

In celebration of Bill and Becky's 15th wedding anniversary, we met up last Saturday to do some photos of their family of five. The girls were so much fun and just made me laugh!
Our families got together one evening back in August (as Becky and I are cousins) and my 3-year-old had such a blast with their girls. He saw me editing one of the pictures of the 3 girls and he got SO excited! He couldn't remember their names, but he definitely remembered the fun he had had with them! :)
Happy Anniversary Bill and Becky - I think these capture your family well :)

I first met the Amodeo family one year ago to do a newborn session of their newest baby boy...then we met a few weeks ago on his 1st birthday for some family photos! These are 2 very sweet (and very well-behaved) boys!
This was probably the fastest session I've ever done...it was SO chilly! The boys were huddled in blankets and then we whipped those blankets off so fast, and shot away before it was time for another huddle! :) Despite the cold and the sniffles, they were still so happy (and mommy and daddy did great too!)
It was so nice seeing the 4 of you again (and Happy 1st Birthday, again, to your sweet little guy!)

This was my fourth time photographing the Koole Family and they are definitely a very cool family! :) Those little boys are so so so adorable, and there's a whole lot of LOVE amongst these guys.
It was super nice seeing you four again! :)
